The Scene
The long main room is broken into several intimate zones, including one with an old-fashioned hearth, an area with tall candlelit tables, a bright bar, a low stage and dance floor, darts room and a patio. The walls are decorated with tasteful Irish knickknacks--a bit contrived, but attractive. The crowd is evenly split between men and women, and it's easy to meet new people.

The Draw
A lot of effort has been taken to make Fibbar's feel comfortable, upscale and classy. The bar is popular with a post-collegiate crowd who appreciate the affordable appetizers, live '80s hits on weekend evenings, ultra-speedy bar service and strong $6 mixed drinks. Monday nights during football season feature food and drink specials and (grainy) big-screen surround sound. The roomy smokers' patio is furnished with tables and heat lamps, making it one of the best spots on Murphy to indulge a nic fit.
